eg.my known as egarage is an online car rental platform, providing car rental services in Malaysia. We provide booking through web and mobile platform. egarage does not provide any vehicle rental introductory services and does not own or operate any vehicle rental companies. The contract for vehicle rental will be between renter and the rental vehicle provider, and we do not take the liability regarding laws, licence or any other related transportation act.
eg.my handles car rental with the car rental company indicated at the voucher. You should present voucher during car pick up session. Please notice that the voucher is not a rental agreement and when you pick up the vehicle, you must you must provide the requested documents by the Rental Company named on the voucher which will be subject to local laws. All local fees for services not included in the rental are billed by and under a contract with, the Rental Company
Please note additional equipment such as child seat, GPS, snow chains ect are all on request and subject to availability. eg.my will pass on all requests to the supplier in advance of your arrival, but unfortunately cannot guarantee the availability of any extras.
Driving age and driver license requirements
The minimum driver age required is 21 years old and driving licence period held for 2 years for all cars groups. Young driver surcharge applicable for driver age from 21-22 inclusive pay 26.50 Myr per day to a maximum of 106.00 Myr per rental. Senior driver surcharge applicable for driver age from 66 inclusive pay 26.50 Myr per day to a maximum of 106.00 Myr per rental. The maximum driver age is 75. When collecting a car from our car rental supplier the principal driver & any additional drivers will need to provide a full driving license on their name. Please note an international driving license/permit does not replace the requirement for a regular driving license. If using an international license/permit, a full driving license in the principal drivers name will still be mandatory in order to rent the vehicle.
Customer Service Queries
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with any aspects of your rental, you must report your concerns at the time locally to the car rental company. If you are still not happy and wish to make a formal complaint, all complaints also after rental was finished, you must be put in writing to our customer services team at firstname.lastname@example.org . We will make investigation on your behalf. You will receive an acknowledgement of your email within a few days and we endeavor to answer all customer service queries within 28 days of receiving them. Sometimes we can experience delays, if we are dealing with third parties.
egarage makes every effort to ensure that prices quoted at the time a booking is made on this booking engine are accurate in all material respects. Nonetheless egarage reserves the right to amend the price quoted at the time a booking is made in the event of a manifest or patent error in the price quoted. egarage will endeavour to notify the customer as soon as reasonably practicable in the event that a price quoted at the time of booking is incorrect. In the event of a change of price quoted at the time of booking the customer may elect to pay the amended price or alternatively the customer will be entitled to a refund of all sums paid. The foreign exchange rates used by egarage to display prices in the Ringgit Malaysia (RM). Foreign exchanges rates used by your credit card company may vary. egarage cannot be held responsible for any discrepancy between the price displayed by egarage and the amount charged by your credit card company due to the rate of exchange used.
